Why Cuckoo? And Why Cups?

I am a retired Swiss citizen, living in Mexico. (And soon to be an American!)
I've had ceramics on my mind for a quarter of a century. Now I'm doing it in Mexico, racing the Chinese with their low price.

When I see a cup or a tea set I have to touch it. There is no way around. At every market, I pick up cups and turn them upside down to see who made them. There is no escape: I have to make them myself! So I started to make my own plaster molds and work with slip cast. But why stay with one production technique if there are more. So I work on the wheel and do also handcrafted stuff. It all comes together in the teapots.

So, cup lovers, I'm your man! I'll make any kind of cup for you, in any style, any color, with any design. Like a Swiss watch-maker, I am. Except my cups don't tell time. But I can put a watch on them. Or a cuckoo!
